My guest tonight will be Lindy Gardner, the Executive Director of the APPLE Pregnancy Care Center.

Melinda Gjerness Gardner grew up on a lake in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. Her father was a pastor and seminary professor, so she was exposed to ministry at a young age.

She has been the Executive Director of the APPLE Pregnancy Care Center since it began in 1981. She is the longest serving Care-Net PCC Director in the United States. She speaks regularly about Pregnancy Centers, and  often speaks to  Middle and High School students about love, sex and healthy relationships.

APPLE is one of many PCC’s  that offer “Earn While You Learn” programs where clients can be educated and mentored while earning points to “purchase” items they need.
