Jen Lawson is a singer/song-writer from Michigan. Her father was a guitar player and an Elvis impersonator with his band, The New Generation, during her early childhood.

Jen’s dad showed her the basic guitar chords and after a year or so of practice on his guitars she finally received her own at the age of 15.

15 years later, you can find Jen playing at local coffee places, wineries, festivals, fairs, and pretty much any open mic around her hometown.

Jen was first brought to my attention with a Youtube video of her song "Cold Dead Hands," which can be purchased at iTunes.

I loved her voice and lyrics at first listen, as well as the country sound.
