Mike Ensminger is a Sheriff in Teller County, CO, and will have much to say about the current gun legislation in Colorado and nationwide.
Mike Ensminger retired from San Diego County Sheriff’s Office in 1987, and previously worked for the City of Imperial Beach and Anaheim.
After retirement, he moved to Colorado Springs where he completed a Bachelors Degree at Colorado Christian University, then taught fulltime Police Academy and Criminal Justice Post Secondary at Pikes Peak Community College for 25 years.
In 2010 Mike ran for Teller County Sheriff and took office in September of that year.
Mike and I will talk about the Second Amendment and the need to merely enforce current gun laws, not muddy the waters of citizens' Constitutional rights with more infringing laws.
We'll also talk about firearms training...and in particular the SWAT Team training his county offers each year.
