This weekend in Dallas, TX; FreedomWork's BlogCon2013 convenes. It's mission is directed towards empowering and training bloggers, which has never been more critical in order to change the conversation in America. We are becoming the media, but we must do more. This year’s event will be focused on giving us the tools needed to turn the media on its head, move outside our echo chamber, and be on the offense for a change. FreedomWorks/BlogCon2013 is partnering with industry leaders TheBlaze and TheBlazeTV as well as working with several of their other coalition partners. 

Two of the most prominent speakers include Deneen Borelli and Chris Loesch. Both are well know throughout the conservative world and both carry creditability and liberal media scares that others can learn from.

Marine Veteran Shaun Adkins had some tough questions for West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) regarding the future of the country. Adkins expressed his concern with outrageous spending in Washington, the Obama administration’s policy on coal, unsecured borders and the climate change “hoax” in the four minute video posted to YouTube.

Deneen Borelli is the Director of Outreach with FreedomWorks. She’s a contributor with Fox News and has appeared on “Hannity,” “The O’Reilly Factor,” “Fox and Friends,” and “Your World with Neil Cavuto.” She has also appeared on Fox Business programs such as “Lou Dobbs Tonight,” “Imus in the Morning,” and “The Willis Report.” Deneen has also appeared on Glenn Beck’s “The Blaze TV.” Previously, Deneen appeared on MSNBC, CNN, the BBC and C-SPAN.

Deneen is the author of “Blacklash: How Obama and the Left are Driving Americans to the Government Plantation,” and is a frequent speaker at political events and Tea Party rallies including the FreedomWorks 9.12.2009 March on DC that drew a crowd estimated at over 800,000 people.
