Reverend Barack Obama once again changed his cadence to fit the crowd

Obama's remarks sounded more like something you'd say to brothers coming out of prison than out of Morehouse. These young men are finishing four years of college, they have already taken responsibility for their lives. And the reason a lot of them are probably at this great moment in their lives is because someone (mom, dad, grandparent, etc.) already delivered the "personal responsibility" lecture to them and nurtured and guided them to become college graduates. This particular audience deserved praise and a challenge to continue achieving, they did not deserve a lecture.

Does anyone else find his comment about helping those less fortunate humorous? It's my understanding that under his  current watch, poverty has hits records highs. This after spending tens of trillions of dollars to help the poor.

I am tired of hearing from black leaders, NAACP, Pink Panther Party, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the rest of the old soldiers stuck in a 1960s wind tunnel. They ask Americans to change their thinking on so many things but they continue to haunt the American people with racism and hatred. They are not alone. They also have white liberal leaders that move them in that direction.

I spent this weekend at the 2013 Republican State Convention where they nominated a black pastor for their Lt Gov slot and people were generally happy about the decision. However, I had to make a video about my experience and how the NAACP is just so behind the times.
